I just hung 26 pieces this morning at Walker's on College Avenue. That includes 22 original paintings, 4 prints on 16x20inch canvases, and 4 painted guitars. They'll be up the month of January.

New Works for Open Studio

I'm getting excited about the open studio Dec. 11 and I've started painting so there'll be plenty of new paintings for it. Here's a pair I did yesterday that includes the occupyathensga.org group (see the tents).

Open Studios - Sun., Dec 11 2-5pm...Christmas in Color is back!

Christmas in Color is back after 2-4 years(?). John Ahee and I open our homes for the 6th year (actually John's on his 7th or 8th, he did it at least one year, maybe 2 or 3 while I took off a few years while my daughters got a bit older).

It promises to be a great event! We'll have a ton of new paintings (we're both busy with are brushes getting ready for it).

And there will be new and returning guest artists (jewelry, pottery, wood carvings, more paintings, and even marionettes (string puppets)).

And food and music!

Painting Guitars (#10)

I've been getting ready for AthFest 2011 the last few weeks. I'm excited to show 3 new guitars...number 9-11. I figured it out and that's how many guitars I've painted. Here's number 10 with just the line drawing done as well as a picture of it getting painted (both taken at Hendershot's Coffee on Thursday June 16th). Number 10 is of 4 music venues on one block of Washingtoon Stree
